2002 - current
Silkscreen Vinyl / Digital Print
This was the first project under the moniker *Pardon My Hindi. The image has no meaning but exists only to cause people to react, to contemplate and search for meaning in the image.
The original goal in 2002, when living in the Lower East Side (NYC), was to contrast the masculine/hard edged aesthetics of the surrounding graffiti.
Many of these pieces that have been put up have been peeled down by people who embraced them, were annoyed by them or considering them an act of vandalism. The result reflects the psyche of the viewer.
